DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has ordered a package of aid worth $10 million to be sent to Ukrainians who fled the war seeking refuge in nearby countries.


The statement carried on the Saudi Press Agency said medical and shelter aid for the refugees who fled Ukraine, especially to Poland, will be delivered in coordination with the Polish government and United Nations organizations.

Royal court advisor Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah told the news agency that the Saudi King’s contribution is an extension of the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts to stand by those in need for help around the world and  alleviate their suffering.
