As the Ukraine crisis grows, China backs Russia for ‘stoping the NATO expansion.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday released a joint statement calling on NATO Not to adopt the approaches of the cold war.

President Vladimir Putin also backed Beijing on Taiwan saying the Taiwanese independence is unacceptable in any form.

In the notable nest stadium in Beijing, the two leaders supported each other on a range of issues. The main concern was the Ukraine tension. The West accuses Russia of plans of invasion, but Russia has denied saying it a ‘lie.’

The United States and some of its allies have declared diplomatic boycotts and refused to send their dignitaries. China is accused of human rights abuses which it denies, especially for Uyghur Muslims.
